Boris Treivus

Boris Treivus was born in St. Petersburg, where he graduated from the Mussorgsky Music College and moved to Toronto in 1990. In 2000 he also graduated from the University of Toronto Drama Program.

Boris has been playing piano for various ballet companies and dance schools for almost 30 years. In 2002 he joined Canada National Ballet School as an accompanist for professional, associate and adult ballet programs.

He also plays organ, accordion, conducts choir and has been working as a Music Director of several churches for over 20 years. Boris also plays in jazz bands, an original Argentinian Tango quartet and Toronto Mandolin Orchestra. In addition, he has written plays and directed several theatre productions.

Boris is very excited to work with Marie Gogo and looking forward to accompanying her performances.
